On October 27-29, 2020 the main event of the laboratory industry of Ukraine the XIII International Exhibition LABComplEX will be held at the ACCO International Exhibition Center.

The exhibition will present the whole range of equipment and technologies for laboratories, specialized furniture, consumables, as well as a range of services for the creation, equipping, modernization of laboratories in various industries and scientific-research.

A training seminar for representatives of the fisheries and aquaculture sector has been held. The training was initiated by experts from the FAO Fisheries Department in Rome (Italy). Irina Mirochnik, the president of IMMER Group, was invited as an expert on minimizing food loss.

Specialists from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Ukraine, the State Ecological Academy, the National University of Bioresources and Nature Management, and the Kyiv National Trade and Economic University were trained on new methods for assessing food loss and food waste in the fisheries and aquaculture sector.

The audit company «TUV NORD CERT» conducted a thorough audit of the company’s integrated management system, production processes, and the safety and quality of products. The auditors have confirmed the company’s full compliance with the requirements of international standards and noted the high qualification of the personnel.

A leading manufacturer of flexible packaging materials has marked its 90th anniversary. On June 29, 1927, an enterprise for the production of packaging was established in Kyiv.

The company UKRPLASTIC - Immer Group has received two awards from the international competition of the World Packaging Organization World Star 2017. The jury evaluated packaging samples from more than 200 leading manufacturers from around the world. Experts judged the quality of the material, design, and the originality of performance of the submitted samples and identified the best. Packaging samples for Bon Chance by TM Svitoch and Ceresit construction mixture by TM Henkel have been chosen as the winners in the category Food and Other.

UKRPLASTIC Company has been awarded the highest Grade A level under the international BRITISH RETAILER CONSORTIUM (BRC)* certification.

The international auditing company “TUV NORD” audited the company’s integrated management system, production processes as well as safety and quality of the manufactured products. The TUV NORD CERT specialists noted the high qualification of the company’s stuff and high responsibility of the top management in relation to the quality management system.

As part of its business strategy the company "UKRPLASTIC" develops new resource-saving and environment-friendly technologies of flexible packaging materials.

Implementation of the project provides for the introduction of innovative systems of recovery and use of solvents in a closed cycle and putting into operation a new co-extrusion lamination line for the production of special packaging materials, which are currently imported inUkraine.

On January 17-18, 2013 the Ukrainian Chemists Union held a workshop «Review of current RC reporting and verification process» with the financial assistance of the International Council of Chemical Associations (ICCA) and support of the European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic).

The Workshop was attended by the representatives of Ukrainian chemical industry including RC managers from PJSC "Azot" (Cherkasy), PJSC "Rivneazot" (Rivne), OJSC "Odesa Port Plant" (Odesa), PJSC "Severodonetsk Azot Association" (Severodonetsk), PJSC "Concern Stirol" (Gorlivka), PJSC "Crimea TITAN" (Armyansk, Crimea), PJSC "Crimea soda plant" (Krasnoperekopsk,Crimea) and occupational healths and safety specialists from non-member companies: OJSC "Ukrplastic" (Kyiv), SO Company "Ukrkhimtransamiak" (Kyiv) as well as Ukrainian Chemists Union specialists and other stakeholders.
